Irene Strenski is an Ypsilanti local now based out of Detroit. She holds a BFA from Eastern Michigan for Printing Making and currently works as a Screen Printer at Ypsilanti’s beloved VGKids. Her work centers around organic forms found in nature and its relationship with human made trash. Irene creates primarily through linoleum block prints but also works in mediums such as screen printing and added elements of watercolor.
